I think once a user has registered, loggen in and made, say 5 posts they shouldn't have to see the huge ad block at the top.

As a registered user, you can choose a different skin once logged in. The ‘Orange’ is the only skin that has advertisements.

If you don’t want to see ads, you can choose different skin at the bottom left corner. And you only need to do this ONCE.

So, you decide for yourself if you want to see advertisement or not.
