Instead of your computer transmitting the data directly to the recipient (Web-, News- or Email-Servers), these are transmitted to the Anonymouse server. The Anonymouse server anonymizes the transmitted data and continues to transmit these then to the actual recipient. A possible response (Web-Server) of the recipient is transmitted over the Anonymouse server back to you.
